			I got these a few years ago from a collector in the UK. 
		
		
		
			I think the pic shows a WW1 version, with the cleaning rod fitted through a hole in the cap. The pic in the LP2 manual seems to have a plain cap. I had a replica made which I stow on the carrier for displays. I had a tapered flat piece on the end, but now think I misinterpreted the pic. I'll find a pic of that. Rob  |

			Most of the UK Vickers accessories came out of Australia when your goverment sold its stocks during the 1980's. 
		
		
		
		
		
		
		
		
	
	Such barrel carriers in the UK are very rare and cost a lot of money. The e-bay item looked more like a WW1 gun cover if large enough.  |
