I have a photo somewhere of the carrier at Bandiana, with one., and yes the one on ebay was one.

Ron if you go back to Darrens post on May 25th, click on the link he supplied, there is a picture of one on ebay, You're to late to bid on it now.

Default Here are some detail pics

I got these a few years ago from a collector in the UK.
I think the pic shows a WW1 version, with the cleaning rod fitted through a hole in the cap. The pic in the LP2 manual seems to have a plain cap.

I had a replica made which I stow on the carrier for displays.
I had a tapered flat piece on the end, but now think I misinterpreted the pic.

I'll find a pic of that.
