I believe that the builder of the Lime spreader had BUILT the cab onto an EX Gun tractor chassis. and used various parts of other broken/ dismantled vehicles.
So even if the number was fully readable I could not be certain that this door and this number came off the same chassis.

As the wheelbase is 101-1/4 inch, and the chassis has fairleads, this is indeed most likely an ex-FGT chassis. The F60S had a 134" wheelbase.

Sorry, I have no info on where to find the chassis number.

Try on the top rail of the chassis near the engine mount cross member on the right-hand side as in this example:
