Default Cover No.29

I have a No.29 cover and have been trying to figure out what wireless set it was used on for years...without success (it's not for a Canadian 29 set). My cover has a Canadian RCEME paper tag wired to it that has 'Ferret' written on it in pencil. Could it be for a 42 set? Naww, those were sealed and didn't need a canvas waterproof cover.

Default 19 Set radio cover - ZA - 10317

To build on this thread -

I have a cover - PC - 64418 - c, ZA-10317

I am entertaining the idea of sending it to Irfan to have some copies made up.

But it seems like there is a whole sub-culture of WS-19 canvas covers out there.

I am looking for a cover for the side-by -side version as used in AFVs or Mk1 carriers.

If I can track down a copy, or good drawings, I am willing to send mine over as a sample for types of fabric, zips, snaps, gussets, etc.

If one can be made up for a reasonable cost, what kind of interest would there be in getting a fresh reproduction?

Default Ws 19 cover

Guys,

Looking for confirmation. I made a plywood mock up of the rear shelves of my Lynx to store a 19 set and some of the associated gear that I got last year. It will probably be several years before it actually goes into the Lynx, but all this talk about canvas covers has me wondering about the one that came with the kit. The number stenciled on the cover is "P.C. 90816C". Can anyone tell me if this is the appropriate cover for my installation?

Thanks, Peter

Default Thanks

Jordan,

Thanks for the prompt reply. One more item to stroke off the master list.
