Morris chassis
Hi Hanno ,
I also bought the spare PU chassis , it is slightly bent near the front crossmember but other wise is OK . Towards the end of the war , many odd makes such as the Morris were disposed of and sold to essential civilian users e.g. farmers and fire brigades . The army had standardised on CMP's and I guess finding parts for the odd bod British trucks was a problem . The Morris was owned from 1949 til 1991 by the same fellow . I am currently drawing up the PU body and will post the drawings on the web site for all to use . In many cases the original bodies were discarded by civilians years ago and us restorers have to build a new body . See the certificate below Mike
