if you had one say from a pal (i dont have one) could it be pre fab'd are you wanting to tow stuff with it or is it for asthetics ? are they a cast item ?

Hi Adam:
Robin Craig (who occassionally posts on this forum) is a talented welder who made a replica for us (www.calnan.com/swords). As we couldn't get tapered tubing Robin used square, however, cut on a bias and welded up they sure look good! You will need to find the springs and hook from a wrecked CMP. I will try to find some photos for you so you can see for yourself. ![]() ![]() ![]()

Hi , For a MkII the brackets were cast, The welded ones were usually made in the UK for fitting on existing MKI carriers.
