Hello and welcome Fletch.
If my memory serves me corectly, some years ago you and your father called into my old home at Mudgeeraba to pick up an engine that I had for an English carrier that I had given him, and a couple of weeksa later you both returned and bouight a pair of front mudguards and headlights for one of my carriers, I remember him well it was then, and still is unusual to find a person so honest and genuine Once again welcome to the forum, Regards Ron

G'day Fletch,
Am I right in saying that your father is Alan? His White Scoutcars are still around and I have a pair of front guards in my shed from him. He's a nice bloke. Saw him at Corowa last year, (or the year before,can't remember.) Any way welcome to the forum and good luck with your quest. Rick.

Hi Fletch,
Its been quite some time since I last saw your father at my place I am afraid I dont remember all the parts that I helped with on that day besides the engine but I had a lot of English carrier parts in those days, at about that time I also had a few transfer cases for the 2 Pdr and morter carrier but they are long gone now,in those days no one seemed interested in them, anyway keep in touch, and it would be nice to see some of your carrier pics,and to watch your progress, Regards Ron

Transfer case
Hi Fletch,
Its a small wprld I was talking to a friend only the other day and told him of the transfers cases that I once had, I remember removing the conection from the transfer case to the gear box on one of them and this one was pulled apart to achieve this, I guess this maybe the one that Alan got along with the engine and English carrier parts,that you now have,look forward to your pics when you get the time,if you are ever up this way call in, Regards Ron

Its still not restored but it is usuable and even drove it in a parade with 30 other M.Vs including two other carriers, what an awsome day that was. The Mortar Carrier came from the ALBURY region and was just a bare hull with large holes cut in the floor and bulkhead, ill post updates as they come. Regards: FLETCH.
