Default Ford straight six

Well, I have a parts list here, TM-10-1346, dated February 1943, for a bunch of Ford 1.5 ton 4 x 2 stake and platform trucks with USA numbers in three batches, 3144039 to 3148928

Full of illustrations of the straight six and the parts for it. I remember looking at my MH Ford V8 Snogo and realising that the extra holes in the curved front engine mounts were for the longer and thinner straight six.

No info on a 3 ton, but if there was a 1.5 then three is a distinct possibility. I'd guess it would be 4 x 2 though.
