Hmmm, not exactly a shed free day as I decided to make the water bottle holders. There is 2 on each machine so I made a couple extra while I was at it. Also a pic of the location of them as well.

Lynn, you could be right! Everyone thinks she is one in a million but actually, she was won in a raffle. :wacko
But It was first prize and she's got more patients than a doctor in a sex clinic.
I think those of us with that green disease are very fortunate if you have a patient wife!
Colin.

pretty sure I got out of that one?

Hi everyone, now that xmas is over and we have all over eaten and probably drank, I managed to get a bit of time to do a bit more of the 2 pounder.
The pics are of the hinged wings on each side. The original ones I have are a bit too far gone. Also I took my family fishing and the pic is of me and my little boy andrew and his first fish. I know it's a bit off the topic but thats what proud fathers do. (good onya son!)

Hi all, I have started the cannon base in the carrier which is made up of individual pieces and quite a few of them at that. Unfortunately the one with the carrier is too far gone but a good template. Whan they made these, they were very precise with their construction so it is a time consuming item to make but also critical as far as measurements are concerned. If it not correct it just won,t fit. In order to make sure it will I have tacked it together first then I will fit the unit then fully weld later.

Colin i have to ask this, and i am sorry if you have mentioned it before........ Are you a sheet metal fabricator by trade ? or is this just a great skill you have ?

I will no doubt be seeking advice from you when i start the mamoth task of replacing all the missing steel from the Fergus Carrier.

Hmmm, now that looks like interesting reading lynn, but it is definately not me.
Although, I think a half day would see me out as a car salesman too!
