Cheers Barry but it needs to be a mk1 or mk2 bren (universal) preferaby Mk1 as this was what My Grandad drove, it will litterally be a full replica of his carrier when done, plus I have not got a spare £23k lying about for a 1950's swiss config T16

Dirk had only brought the one carrier back over which was around 10k out of my budget unfortunately
 the stripped one could have been a possibility if he had got it back to Holland

Still searching, the fergus carrier looks like its going to be a none runner, prices to get it back to the UK and then to obtain the Sheet steel outweigh the costs to buy a running item.
