Hi

In 2005 we finished our Welbike project, in which we made 21 copies. All are running now, and three seem to have been sold off.
For wheels we made hubs (courtesy John Salemink) and had rims re-rolled to get the right diameter (12 1/2"). Sopokes were bi=ought in and brake set-up converted from existing bicycle spares. If need be, I could find out what a complete set of wheels, in repro form, would cost now to have some made.
Would you want tyres and tubes too?

Rob

Default Welbike auctioned 29Apr12

Hi all - went to a clearance sale today and look what was there. It sold for $AUD2800 plus a 12% agent's premium of $AUD336 totalling $AUD3136. Then if you paid by credit card, another 3%. I do not know whether this was good value or not.
