Hi Bob, great find! Search for "Ambulance Indian Army Type" on the AWM site and 9 pics will turn up. The one below shows the spare-wheel carrier on the driver's door.

The "Ambulance Indian Army Type (Aust) No. 1" came on a variety of chassis, including both conventional pattern and CMP 30-cwt chassis made by Chevrolet and of course Ford. Also, Mike posted a pic of one on a Dodge chassis in the thread "Dodge D8A T212 info needed".

I'm sure you're happy with the good results on this enquiry
