Hanno,
Here is another CMP at last saterday's Market Garden remembrance. It had had the winch rollers both front and back.....an CGT originally???? 2 cab 11's, a cab 12 and two cab 13's.....not a bad score! Yes, I agree with you that the star on the desert F8 is somewhat odd. It could be that they got fed up with people asking them if the truck why the truck was in primer. I believe the brown one was imported by the owner himself along with two others. The restoration was finished one or two years ago, just in time for "Bevrijdingsdag", which was the only appearance the truck made, so far. It wasn't actually the owner driving it, but one of his mates. The green one seems to have come from the UK (see the remains of the UK registration on the bumper) and the owner didn't change anything to it yet. Alex

Another "then" picture, found on http://www.legervoertuigen.nl/terug_...in_de_tijd.htm
It shows an F60L of the "1-111 Transportbataljon". Picture was made during the summer of 1951 at the Ripperdakazerne at Haarlem, courtesy of Mr. Lochem of Hilversum.

Always like seeing historic images of CMPs but this pic looks like the poor Ford had a paint job courtesy of the early Haarlem drug culture!

As noted by Alex, this C60S Cab 12 recently popped up for sale. I had not seen it before in Holland, so I post it up here. You never know what's hiding in the barn! Note the CMP 15-cwt hiding in the background of pic 2.
The C60S had "CMD 60476" painted on the hood. H.

Nice pic of F60L in Dutch Army service, most likely in Indonesia shortly after WW2.
Body looks like an Indian Pattern wooden one? And who said CMPs never rode on 12:00-20 bar grips?!?! H.

Somewhere near Dalfsen, the Netherlands. Trucks no longer loved or wanted, waiting for the rust to take its toll. . . . .
Sad!
