Have a look at the Chev Stovebolt site...... you need to ID your engine to see what year and model you have and what kind of oil pressure system....

If we can be of any help fire the question.... between what Phil and the Barn Queens have expereinced we should be able to sort it out....

Also check the ser # on the head behind the carb.

http://aera.org/techtools.aspx best online look up I’ve found for casting numbers from this you can get the year of the block. Don’t be surprised if the different engine parts come out having different years, chevy 6s are real mix and match sometimes.
