Thanks! Beltring ended on a High as the C15 TA won runner up in Best Canadian Vehicle to James Baxter's Heavy Utility. We might have come second but I think we had more pictures taken!!!!

Congrats, mate! If I were the judge, you would have come first, due to (1), the 1CACR markings and (2), the fact that the name 'Sally Ann' is that of my own lady (and here so on MLU)... suffice to say when you're ready to sell, I am your man...

Geoff, I think you are out of luck. Sally Ann just happens to be James' significant others name. I don't think she knew about it until she made a last minute trip into the barn. Any woman should be pleased to have such a magnificent truck with her name on it. The C15TA sure was well done and well kitted out, a highlight of Beltring for sure.

Hi Barry,
I am james' wife, Sally Ann. You are quite right, I had NO idea that he would call his truck after me. It was quite a shock I can tell you.
We run an Equestrian Centre and that morning when it was pulled out for Beltring, my work collegues kept walking past me sniggering. After about half an hour of walking past the thing I finially saw what everyone was laughing at. I mean its hardly pretty is it?
Thanks for your nice words to James, he was well pleased.

Sally- Ann (the original and more reliable one)

Default Sally Ann - magazine cover girl

Congratulations to James Gosling and the original Sally Ann - his C15TA is on the cover of the January 2009 issue of Classic Military Vehicle magazine.
