Default More Info. Box Identity

I have closely examined the box and have worked on it to bring out any lettering that might be found.

I found no stampings on the box..... I have not yet uncovered every square inch.

I have however cut through the top layer of black paint on the front of the box which has revealed some stencilling in about 3/4 block letters.

I can read **Chest AMMUNTION**
CAL. 50 ????
D39091
A rust mark after 50..... blots out the letters/numbers.

****************Edited to show correct stencilling on box......****************

That's it so far.

Guy
