not doubting you but i doubt that, i was there and didnt see any 24vlt systems in any other vehicles there, also you cant use the old systems to get into the new radios net. will not f hop. when there they were useing normal civilian radios. but the US government is getting silly here. i live near the largest military post in the free world. they have a policy here that EVERYTHING is shreaded. uniforms, nets, radios, parts, sleeping bags..... everything.

A check on the US DOD disposal site shows that even the 3/4 ton trailers are now controlled, will need an end users cert, and can't be exported. Same for the hundreds of M-16 bayonets being sold off.
Things are getting so crazy that we now require import certificates from Canada to get an export permit from the US for something as simple as the screws which hold a telescope to a rifle. |

annnnnnnd it takes up to 45 days to get a cert, i know someone who got a M-35 waited 30 days for his cert and when he went to get the truck it had been stripped clean (canvas, batts, lights, etc).
