Vehicles that had 5 studs in the 40's were Maple Leafs, Fords and Dodges.
My guess is that it may have been a vehicle that was used in the Middle East such as 2 to 3 ton truck that may have been used as a gun tractor etc.
Maple Leaf had such a truck but it had more spokes or holes cut in the rim , the picture supplied has 4 .
