Hanno or anyone

Who knows where our Dodge from the Aqaba to Normandy trip went? Is it still alive in UK or elsewhere?

Hello Lang, can't say I've seen it in the metal since you took it on that trip.
Last seen online in 2007 when it was put up for sale: http://www.mapleleafup.net/forums/sh...1437#post71437

Thank you Hanno

It is nice to know one of your vehicles is being used and looked after.

The 1942 Chevrolet Utility I took from Istanbul to Normandy the following event has now been chopped and hotrodded with the mechanicals taken to the dump. So sad to see them go that way.

That is so sad to hear... reminds me of the Dodge D8A T212 of which a photograph was published in Wheels & Tracks magazine a long time ago. It was slated to be turned into a hot rod as well, but was never spotted again.
