It's definitely a Plymouth P14, though I'm not sure if it's the S (Deluxe) or C (Special). Designated a 1942 in terms of model-year, it was introduced in the latter part of 1941, and stragglers were still being exported in 1943 and 1944. I presume the 1942 War Units page shown here lists the Canadian Army cars, but there is a separate Export page showing more, and I know the majority of these went to Australia. I wonder if perhaps some of the exports were overseas Canadian Army cars. The only year with a separate War Units page is 1942.
Edit (reviewed past communications): Australian automotive historian Eric North mentioned that the 42 Chrysler C34W models listed on the 1942 War Units sheet were delivered to the Australian Army in 1944. This suggests the War Units and Export categories of this period are a bit hazy.

A theory: The military 1941 De Soto ute I had , had the typical Aust. army requirement , where the nomenclature was stenciled on the firewall, I recall in that case, the model was SP11 . Reading the list Hanno uploaded ,I see that the 'S' was possibly meaning 'Special' . These Plymouth based army utes had heavier rear springs fitted than the standard sedans, and possibly other chassis mods. Maybe the 'S' covered those mods.
