I do not see anything pertaining to this GPW in my data base. Correction: The Canadian Army Registration numbers were usually over the rear wheel well. The unit would be painted on the sides of the hood. If used overseas the War Department number would have ben painted on the hood. CDN as well as US used Jeeps have been found in NS. If it is missing any of the CDN markings there is a very good probability it was not used by the Canadians. Canadians very quickly over painted the US markings when it entered CDN service. Tks Eric

Yeah I can see faintly some US number which helped me get the hood number with my range for that month but no CND markings that I can see! |
