Gee, that symbol is hard to read. AWV? or AWA - Amalgamated Wireless Australia? Had been in wireless in Australia since the old days of HF links to/ from England.

And the old 'dumb' cop at the tee-intersection. Until recent years there was still one at the corner of Auburn rd & Burke rd (sort of Camberwell area in Melbourne.) Might still be there.

The first 'car' I bought was a mini-moke, could poke arm out through the side flap for signalling - but mine did have indicators, so didn't need to. (No wireless, no heater either)
