Default Worth a lot of $$$$$

If the selling price is $71K then the harness....NOS... never had electricity flow through the wires..... must be worth at least $1500.

Better rent a safety deposit box at the bank David.....

Default Bob

Considering the standard, and the rarity, it is probably a resonable price.

Default Wiring Harness

Hey Bob - the wiring is not gold - or even silver! I guess I'd better lock my workshop now!
Seriously, $50 plus shipping gets it. Thats real (Canadian) dollars though not those fake US ones.

Gee Dave, call the Secret Service quick if you've seen "fake" US dollars, because, as we all know, counterfeiting is illegal!

'course, if you're crowing about the current and temporary devaluation of the U.S. Dollar, well, it's only fitting that the Loony is presently higher than the U.S. buck since the Canadian government leaves so little of it in your hands.

P.S., What's the HST up to these days?

Default Were these the inspiration for the Ford Station Wagons in the Desert

Hi All

This was just posted on Hagerty Insurance Newsletter. Were these the inspiration for the Wagons in the Desert? Balloon tires and away you go, wonder what other modifications?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=08zf-...s%2005-29-2013

Most of it is talking about the 1948 version but they started the Dunesmobile in 1934-1935.

Otherwise just and interesting search for a particular vehicle.

Cheers Phil

Phil,

Thanks for posting. I'm sure Kuno of the Desert Vehicles Preservation Society is interested to see this.
