I am sure that all were stamped XH-8448- etc. but am willing to be proven wrong! I have tried to get the date stamp as per actual plates.

I owned no less than two of these beasties in the late 1980's. both had been found at the foothills of the Snowy Mountains in New South Wales.

One went to Les Bell in Sydney and the other to Mike K here on MLU !

Not sure of the serial numbers anymore but I'm sure they both made it onto the list.

Bob, that C8AX is No 747 and was on e-bay earlier. See post #76 above in this thread.

In all the pics of the plates shown in this thread, there is no hyphen between the XH and 8448, but there is a hyphen between the 8448 and the 3 digit serial.
And mfgd? Manufacturinged?
