Default Technical question.....

Looking at the Matilda picture....... what a massive hunk of steel..... impressive to see that someone has taken the effort (grunt) to fix it up.

The individual track pads are very similar to what I recall was on a Churchill....

.... are they a similar design..? but maybe narrower.... or are they exactly the same...??

Some times we take the lot !!

Matilda track is very diferent to churchill, Matilda track is 14'' wide and there are 69 shoes per side.

There are two types of track, barless as used on early vickers tanks (H pattern) and the heavy lug style . both types are hollow cast.
