Winter: the time period from approx 25 September until as late as 15 June, during which precipitation in the form of snow may occur and accumulate.
While I have little sympathy for the Texans, and about the same for the Easterners, I do feel bad for the UK. Not sure why, but I just do. Do they own snowblowers over there? We hit +4 C today. Things are looking up in Manitoba.
