steering box sector shaft

Hi All. Dismantled my steering box today and found the sector shaft gear (I guess you call it a gear, pulley, ?) that runs along the worm gear is banged up. The worm gear is in good shape. Has anyone out there replaced just this gear? Wondered if this gear would be the same in types of sector shafts, 1/2 ton, 1 ton etc. Wondered if I should be looking for another old Ford steering box and switch gears.
