Not so sure it is a lynx-1 vs lynx 2 thing, but perhaps a WSno11 vs WS19 set thing. It was the 11 set antenna bases that had the provision for the chain from that eyebolt to the base.

The same bolt can be found on the GM Otters.

I see no trace of those other eyebolts on the bins here at the museum. Perhaps they were an add-on to aid in strapping extra cargo or cam nets when externally stowed. After all, there is no plethora of space inside a lynx.
