Default Service Record for Major Guy Percy Lumsden Drake-Brockman DSO MC Canadian Army

Because Major Drake-Brockman passed away in 1952 (more than 20 years ago), his Canadian military service files are open to the public and can be obtained from Library & Archives Canada. They are not available on line. I've obtained copies of service files for a number of individuals in the past and you do not have to be related...the key here is the person must be deceased for more than 20 years. Proof of death is required...picture of headstone showing day/month/year, copy of obituary or death certificate. Getting a copy can take long if you request it from them directly. If you're interested, I use a researcher who lives in Ottawa who will do it for a small fee. It ends up being much faster. I can put you in contact with this person if this is of interest. The following will take you to the relevant webpage at Library & Archives Canada.

Hope this is of help.

Cheers, Terry.
