Default Roof Rondels to Hatch or not to Hatch

Hi All

I've been reading the thread with interest about CMPs with and without observer hatches. In the back of my mind I remember seeing photos of Pat 12&13s in North Africa which showed the no hatch version with rondels. As well as photos of Pat 12 with hatch and rondel in the middle and then one with no hatch and the rondel over the driver. Just took me a while to find them, many of these photos have previously been posted on MLU.

All this goes to show that there were many many interpretations of the instructions for the air recognition symbols.

Cheers Phil
