C60S gross weight

hi i need some help with something.
i have get me a new canadian wrecker chervolet c60s 1943 model.
and i try to get down the gross weight to 7,5 tonn.
then i can drive the car by the law in norway.
all the books i have look at says 7265 kg (16000 pound).
the man who i get the numberlicens from say i have to have a paper from the factory or copy of a paper from a similar car.
if anyone have a car like this ,can you then tell me what gross weight is?
