F 60 Frame

I'm trying to find some info/photos of what we suspect is an F 60. The wheelbase has been shortened and the frame chopped but looking at it closer, it looks good enough to save and return to it's proper wheelbase. Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas as to the best way to do this? Could the rear portion of some other WB CMP be grafted on or would it have to be another 60 CWT?
I also noticed a bracket inside the cab behind the passenger that I'd like to ID, any ideas as to what it's for?
