I’m in the market for a complete, or mostly complete, 80w lightweight charging set to help complete my display.
I’d just purchased one off of eBay from a fellow in Plymouth. Unfortunately, he used eBay’s Global Shipping Program and they confiscated it at their shipping hub. I knew I should have had him send it to my friend in Berks and then have him forward it to me. Anyway, if you can help me out, please let me know. Thanks much!

This is off-topic but I wonder what happens to interesting but harmless things that get confiscated. Crushed/shredded? Resold locally? (and who receives the proceeds?) It doesn't sound like the sender has the option of return?
I'm not talking about obvious weapons of mass destruction which I wouldn't want dropped on my doorstep but almost anything could be (mis)used as a weapon if someone wants. After all, there have been murders done with hammers and camping axes. Cars kill multiple people every year. I don't want to see either of these banned because they've been misused to do harm. It could be be said that ebay itself can be misused to cause harm so perhaps they will end up banning themselves.... fat chance. |

I know for a fact some things confiscated in that little eBay scheme have been re-sold. One was a 6/12 dog bone that I bought, was confiscated, and sold again.

Very possibly, Tim! I’ve found a fellow with two. I believe we’re going to come to a deal on one of them.
