Default CMP Snow plow

While on a road trip yesterday down to the tropical part of Ontario our eyes were attracted to this as we breezed by. A few quick right turns and we were back at it and quickly ascertained that its origins were military for sure. My thought is something CMP?

Here for your delight and delectation are the pictures. Couldn't resist snapping his business name.

And here are the remaining pictures including by the same maker a ground driven spreader, the axle is turned through 90 degrees and a spinner plate attached to the UJ yoke and by gravity the sand salt drops onto it.

curious as to how that makes it through safety check and what its registered as...
BUT Im still glad that oddball stuff is still allowed at all..

too many do-gooders, busybodies, safety zealots, and politically correct in this bubble wrapped helmeted, uber protected, world.

(and now the proposed cyberbullying law contains within it provisions for govt spying almost exactly like whats happening with NSA and metadata mining in the US.)

Robin:

Probably a long shot, but with the winch in it, any chance it might have been a FAT?
