Hi ron. I didn't realise it was that early of serial number. Just out of interest, does any one know approx how many lp1 carriers were made before they changed to lp2's? I'm assuming this carrier is an lp2? I should of had a good look when I was last there Ron

158 LP1, 2 experimental/'transitional' model carriers (Hulls 159 and 160) then LP2s. It's all in my book 'Local Pattern Carriers 1939 to 1945', published in the early 1990s.
