Default 1943 c8

Hello everyone,
I have aquired a 1943 C8 which i am trying to get roadworthy again.
I Will upload and attach a picture asap
One of the things i have to do is run new fuel lines.
I want to have the tanks cleaned and coated.
The company That does That wants to know how many liters go into a tank.
I have never filled them up so i have no idea...
Can Anyone give me That number?
Thanks!

Hi,

At first, congratulations on you excellent choice of vehicle.
What type of C8 do you have, a FAT i presume, i'd love to see a picture.

I have a pre production 1943 MCC C8 4x4 GS which is restored 2 years back.
The tanks on mine have a capacity of 50 liters per tank.

Rgds.

If you're talking about a Chevrolet C8, check out the CMP specifications on our site: http://www.mapleleafup.net/vehicles/softskin/specs.html

Hello all,
Thank you for your replies!
I almost feel sorry to say it's a Chevy and not a Morris Commercial haha
Because of the enthusiastic reactions
But Thank you for the info, iT is indeed 50 litres
I am now after a electrical scheme, since all the wiring is loose..
