Default Some carrier pictures.

They might have been seen before...but what the hell!
First two are in the Netherlands. Not sure where the third one is. But obviously a Mortar Carrier. Ron

Ron, Nice pictures, you often see mortar carriers with the stacey on the back.

Cant make out the writing on the front of the Lyod.

Found these pics recently.

Yes Andy it is always the bikes that grab my attention. But here are a couple more I came across today. No captions but obviously in the desert! Ron

It got a PM stating this image was recently posted for sale on eBay and it indicated the T-16 was in Burma.

Thanks,
Hanno

I'm told that this one is actually on D Day?? The carrier has a James ML on the back. Followed by what looks like a MK2. Ron

Ron, I know that photo ... it is June 6th, in France. I will look for the details.
Is it Lion-sur-Mer?

Update ... Ask your chum if he knows this fellow in the mortar carrier with the wading screens. I suspect it is the same carrier from a different perspective, moments apart.

Notice the background detail ... the hotel in Hermanville? Is that 41 (RM) Commando?

Richie

I was thinking what the crew were about to be doing rather than the carrier. Both look pretty uncomfortable!!
