I don't know much about the Quads, but think they look very cool. I assume they're rare as I haven't seen many for sale.
What do they go for? ...... and are there many in North America? Thanks! ![]() |

Hey Chuck,
I drove ours yesterday in a liberation parade near and in Amstelveen, just make sure you are not in a hurry when you drive one..... I drove the set through the Schiphol tunnel, that was pretty scary..... Ciao, Stefan |

Does anyone have an idea of what the current market value is for one of these?

Like Tony said, it is advertised on the El Alamein / Milmarket site as well. Together with another MLU member, I recently saw these vehicles which are located in the Netherlands, close to ports so shipping will not be a problem. If you read this page, you will notice what is on offer: an unrestored but very complete 25-pdr + limber, plus two Cab 12 Ford FGT Field Artillery Tractors, one of which has a restored chassis & running gear. Not sure if you are looking for a restoration project, but if so, this is a very viable one. Most of the restoration work will be in reconstructing a FAT body - which is an angle iron an sheet metal job mostly - from the remnants of two bodies present. The (rear) body is missing on most surviving FAT's, so most if not all restoration projects entail reconstruction of that part. HTH, Hanno

Thanks guys,
I had been thinking that if there were one here in North America that was complete & running (and for sale), I could possibly sell my Dingo and go after it. It sounds like they're rare and I don't even know if its realistic, but it's still fun to think about. |
