Stand at the rear of your carrier. At the left side of the rear deck, you will see an angle iron brace and there should be a hull number stamped. This is only a hull number and not the serial number.It will give a good indication as to the age of your vehicle. The lower the number the earlier.
You can also look for the serial plate, if there is one, attached behind the driver position on the bulkhead that separate the engine and driver compartment.
The census number should be stamped into the top of the front armour edge in front of the driver position as well as date of manufacture. Of course if your machine is badly cut up you may find some, all or none of the numbers. Please share your findings and I am sure someone here can help you.
