There are obviously 3 patterns for wheel. I believe the 1950s ones have a small hole in the rim approx 1/8" diameter near the raised center.
The CDN3 has definative weld lumps near the center. I cannot remember off hand what the CDN2 rim has that makes it stand out.
I have some of each, when I am back home maybe I can get some pics to demonstrate the differences.
