Operation Cannonshot, Netherlands april 2012
Attached are some pics of the "Operation Cannonshot" tour and remembrance taken today, in the area of Deventer, Zutphen and Wilp (Netherlands). The organizers did well again in gathering some very nice Commonwealth vehicles for this event and the other tour "Operation Quick anger" held yesterday.
It was great to see some trucks out and about again and great to meet some people. As can be seen in the last picture, the tour past the remembrane stone for the original "Operation Cannonshot" 12 april 1945. Alex

There's some nice units there. One idle comment though. That Cab 12 F8 painted desert stone with the star on the door, it likely never would have happened! By the time they went from the roundels on the roof to the stars they were in Italy and the desert stone was painted over.
