Also from a WWII Jeep Mariano. Most had a brass filter element. I am not sure, but suspect the fiber element is post war. A paper element is available for them now.

Default AC Fuel Filters- paper elements and brass element

Hi Mariano,

Here is a leaf type filter and a later paper AC filter element.
Also shown a comparison of the old paper AC element removed from the filter body, and a modern Baldwin paper filter.
Last two photo are a NOS filter I obtained. Still with label visible, and the original brass type leaf filter.

Fuel Filter- A-C, GF 30A
Element- A-C. GF 133, 2-15/16” dia x 2” high with ½” dia holes.
Baldwin PF 860 same. 2003 Baldwin catalogue lists it as fitting White and GMC trucks. GMC 854435, White 871646

Cheers,

Default Ford CMP- AC filter inlet and outlets

Hi Mariano,

Just re-read your post. The inlet and outlet shown on the same end of the filter looks like the fitment of these filters when used on Jeeps.

My F-15A and other Ford CMPs have the inlet and outlet on opposite sides. I would assume the FGT is the same?

Just change over the fittings and plugs on the filter for the CMP configuration.

Cheersm

Jacques
Thanks for the pic and explanation.
Late CMP arrived here have the filter bracket under cab floor.
This is a C15A pic . Can you see the filter bolted under floor. Elbow on opposite sides
My FGT have a welded bracket to bolt the filter, but a one inches lower
