Can you identify this?
found these among my various CMP items
painted white so...interior of an armoured vehicle? CMP lugnut shown to give idea of size

It is a 19 set headset/mic bracket used in an AFV. The mic sat in the lower bracket and the headset hung in the loop at the top. They were also used in HUW's to hang headsets from the roof.

Beat me to it, i found those on the front wall of my wire 5 box. those look nicer than mine....

Just to prove I'm way too involved in this stuff, these things come in at least two varieties. One is like Marc's with an angle tab on the back (to weld as required to turret rings) and others without but with two holes at the top to accommodate angled mounting brackets for HUW, 2K1 and other soft skin wireless bodies. Some are arc welded and others brazed.

And to add another version, I've got one that is made of some kind of compressed fibre board with cast hooks for the mic.
