My online translator can't quite make sense of it:

"Men of the field artillery. And this way they heave and mess about in the burning sun"

More than likely they're investigating something like a leaking Ford water pump.

That's a dirty trick too!

Here's another interesting one from the Dutch archives...


Looks like a Chev getting the treatment.

Original caption:
