These are interesting:
 Source: Dutch National Archive Pic number 5639 Who would want to do that to a CMP ambulance? Nasty. Perhaps Hanno can translate for us: "Indramajoe. De doorzeefde voorruit van de Rode Kruis ambulancewagen, die op 30 september door de republikeinen ten Noorden van Djati barang onder vuur genomen werd." Looks like it was really shot up! One for a caption
 from the same archive photo 6654 Caption: "Mannen van de Veld Artillerie. En zo prutsen en zwoegen zij voort in de brandende zon" My online translator can't quite make sense of it: "Men of the field artillery. And this way they heave and mess about in the burning sun" More than likely they're investigating something like a leaking Ford water pump.

Ditching pictures
That's a dirty trick too!
Here's another interesting one from the Dutch archives... Looks like a Chev getting the treatment. Original caption: "In de Locale Werkplaats van L.T.D 710 is men dag aan dag bezig met het repareren van militaire voertuigen uit het territorium West-Java West. Ondanks het onderbrengen van de normale reparaties, die tot een L.T.D.-werkplaats behoren zoals radio-wapen-geschut en instrumenten, bij de hoofdwerkplaats L.T.D. 80 te Djatinegara, heeft L.T.D. 710 geen gebrek aan werk. In de truckafdeling worden de zere kiezen en tanden van de zware wagens getrokken en zo nodig vernieuwd."
