Default 17 Pdr and 18 Pdr pics please

Would anyone have detailed images of the 17 Pdr and 18 Pdr guns ?

I have some elevation gear, sighting apparatus and recuperator parts which I need to sort and ID before passing on the 18 Pdr parts to the Museum.

Any images would be appreciated.

Cheers

Phill

Hi Rob, thanks for the reply. I'm unable to post pics as I have no camera or computer. 'YET' - I keep coming up against this problem and it's frustrating me and the rest of the MLU community.

I have found elsewhere on the net enough info to confirm that what I have is a couple of 18 Pdr recuperator tube end housings and some, but not all of the elevation and traverse gear and sighting vernier. All of which will go well with the Museum's 18 Pdr projects.

Cheers

Phill

The photo posted by Bob looks like an 18pdr Mk IVP with a box trail carriage. The Mk VP had a split trail carriage.

The photos posted by Rel look like they may be of an 18/25pdr on the Mk IVP carriage.

Thankyou all. Most of my questions have now been answered.

Especially liked Bob's image of the 18 Pdr in Pre War Aust service

Cheers
