Gents:

Thanks for your help on this and the photos; I will know what I am looking for as a result.

Could someone clarify the significance of chevrons on lower sleeve?

Are you talking about the Battledress photo?..If so these are years of Service chevrons worn on the lower Right Sleeve.

Sorry just checked the photo...You may be refeering to the inverted chevronon the lower left cuff.....this is a good conduct chevron.

Sir:

Thanks for the enlightenment with regard to sleeve badges.

Based on flaws in my character that my parents caused, I have little insight into "good conduct" awards.....
