Badge "Maple Leaf"
By prospecting a former battlefield in the neighborhood , some nice things came back to the surface , among them , some 0.303 rounds , 9 mm cartridges , 2 inch mortar relics , tails & finns , and a uniform badge ( I think) , showing 2 maple leaves attached together ,
I s this a military badge or not ?

Badge is a Pin
This is not a military issue badge but a civilian pin of some type. The fastening method on the back is the clue that it is not military issue.
