Default WW2 Propaganda

In light of the use of horror video's by the terrorists for propaganda they have far exceeded that which was used in the WW2. During this period radio and leaflets were used. I remember Lord haha's broadcast on the BBC and heard about Tokyo Rose from Japan. I was facinated by the leaflets the Germans fired by artillery shells and left behind by the retreating Germans. Is there any data on the failure or success of the propaganda efforts documented anywhere? Here is another part of my small collection

Norm:

FYI...there is a book which I've somehow managed to acquire relating to propaganda. Here's the details...

"Behind Enemy Lines, WW11 Allied/Axis Propaganda"

Author: Edward Boehm

Wellfleet Press, 110 Enterprise Ave, Secaucus, NJ, 07094.

ISBN: 1-55521-379-0.

Hope that this might be of help.

It wasn't just the germans who used Artillery to deliver Propaganda leaflets. The 25pdr has a shell type called "Base Ejection" which, among other uses, can be used to deliver airbursts of leaflets, either of the "Hand this to the nearest allied soldier to receive safe passage" type, or of the "Himmler has syphillis and is at home with your wife" type.
How sucessful were either of these for the Allies? Did it do more than keep the Germans supplied with cigarette paper and toilet paper?

Default Post Cards

I found several beautifully coloured Italian propaganda post cards. My Dad had these in one of his photo albums. He said that he got them when he was in Italy 44-45. They are very interesting. I will try to post them all but I am having problems resizing them... here goes the first one.
