1331/BA2205 Battery Disconnect Switch
My 1331/BA2205 battery disconnect switch packed it in over the weekend (luckily it waited until after I got home to decide not to work). Seeing as ut is a sealed unit, I’m thinking it’s not repairable.
Does anyone have a spare they would be willing to part with or know where to get one in Canada? They are available at one source online in the US, but the shipping costs are ridiculous… Hope everyone got a chance to play on their MVs for Father’s Day yesterday! |

I’m not familiar with that part number but a quick google search shows that it’s almost identical to my wartime one. There really isn’t much that can go wrong inside these. Drill out the rivets and take it apart.
I rebuilt mine and it’s as good as new. You can see my rebuild pictures in the Otter LRC thread. http://www.mapleleafup.net/forums/sh...t=30726&page=4

Thanks, Jordan.
The one I have isn’t riveted, instead there are tabs that are folded around the back plate to form a sealed unit. Just got back from Brian Asbury’s shop in Acton with an NOS replacement. BTW - nice to see a fellow Riley in the Forums! SEMPER PARATUS Sean McKee |
