Default Chev C30

Hi All,

Thought i would post you a couple of pictures of my first chev a 1943 wireless truck, which now lives in the garage at my new house.

It was a very tight fit but well worth it, all i now need to do is change the garage door so i can get it out again.

Hi Geoff,

Well i removed the gararge door, and then tried to let the tyres down only to find out that run flat tyres don't change much with no air in them.
So the only way was to take the front wheels off and roll it in on its drums, one problem there too the diff hits the ground. So i ended up with it sitting on a 2 ton pallet truck with the help of my dad and the landrover pushing it we finaly managed it.
The pallet truck is now a V shap since its ordeal!
We then jacked it up and put the front wheels back on again.
So It is stuck in there till i have the time to change the front doors of the gararge and a bit of the wall and roof. It maybe in there for some time.

I jackhammered out a perfectly good concrete floor for about three feet. I had never realized what a sarcastic woman I had married.

NOW THAT is dedication! I would have probably used a tarp then changed the doors. Having done similar stuff I can envision being there during the process, good stories for beer drinking later. Good job.

Smile Clearance

You can imagine how happy I was to find a nice big garage for rent with a door 7'-10" high (HUP is 7-6) (And not far from home, too). The guy driving the flat-deck was skeptical when he delivered the truck, but if rolled right in.

Nice looking truck, BTW
